Running at about 8 3/4 minute miles, we put in some work Saturday morning. We did not do the 5 k due to the $30 late registration fee. We were pretty sore from the prior day's track workout, so probably not a bad idea. The run was pretty rough due to the heat and tired legs. I took Sunday off to do some fishing, and my legs feel rested and ready for a ruthless week of training.
